Monday, Jan. 4, 2010 (West Salem, WI) – The new Midwest Motorsports Racers’ Expo is all set to take place this weekend - January 8th & 9th in Madison, WI.

The event, held at the Alliant Energy Center’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum “features a record number of commercial exhibitors in the trade show,” commented Trade Show Manager Dave Noelke.

“Racers can expect to see a variety of products and services offered at the show, whether it’s a chassis, crate or performance engines, graphics and uniform embroidery, bodies, lettering, suspension parts, setup software and setup consultation, helmets and safety gear, radio communications, and even shop tools that you are looking for, you’ll find it at the show. Plus, several touring series are having new 2010 car displays and are hosting series meetings at the seminar portion of the expo,” concluded Noelke.

This Friday, January 8th the doors and the trade show will open to the public at 3:00 p.m. while the Auction begins at 4:00 p.m. Bidders are encouraged to arrive early to register for their free bidder’s card and receive a free catalog of auction items, and spend time inspecting the items they would like to bid on.

The auction and trade show continues on Saturday, January 9th with doors opening at 8 a.m. for the Trade Show and item inspection, and the sale starting at 9 a.m. Items featured on Saturday include the small “parts” lots, as well as “C-Lots” – i.e. rolling chassis’, race cars, bare chassis’, tow vehicles and trailers, etc., which will start rolling into the sale ring at Noon.

Although prime time lots are sold out, consignment space is still available for the auction. If you would like to sell any of your extra or unused racing equipment or parts and turn it into cash, please contact Gregg McKarns at the Auction office at 815-316-7841.
